The Museum Schloss Moyland owns the world’s largest collection of works by Joseph Beuys. Combined with the Joseph Beuys Archive, which includes documents, archival materials, photographs and publications, as well as with the largest art library in the Lower Rhine region, the Museum Schloss Moyland is the international centre of excellence for this artist’s work and influence.
Exhibitions on classic and current topics of art as well as individual artistic visions and changing exhibits on various aspects of the collection are the heart of the museum programme.
Visitors of all ages can participate in an innovative offering of arts education programmes. With its diverse cultural events, the annual herb garden festival and the Artisans´ Christmas Market the museum is a lively cultural attraction.
The historical ensemble includes a sculpture park and a herb garden, which is one of the most attractive and largest in the entire region.
The North Tower’s observation deck offers a panoramic view of the landscape of the Lower Rhine.
