Emmerich am Rhein

Emmerich am Rhein

Have a good time at one of the most beautiful promenades on the Lower Rhine! With many cafes and restaurants as well as comfortable beach chairs and the view of the longest suspension bridge in Germany, it enjoys great popularity. The health resort Elten offers a particularly beautiful view of the Rhine Valley. Worth seeing are the Rhine Museum, the largest maritime museum on the Lower Rhine, the churches, the PAN kunstforum niederrhein and the Museum of coffee technology, the Borghees Castle, in Elten the 1000 year old St.Vitus Church, the STEIN TOR, Gerritzens mill and the Drususbrunnen. Very popular are the theme tours such as the “Klompengang”, “With Love, Lust & Passion” and the “Night Watchman Tour”. Active guests can enjoy the leisure pool “Embricana” with the large sauna area, an 18-hole golf course, the barefoot path and the miniature golf course on the Eltenberg. The city offers the guests three parking spaces: in the marina, at the parking place Kleiner Wall on the Rhine promenade (temporary) and in the health resort Elten at the parking place on the Eltenberg.
