West-Bike-Route

Heinsberg

For varied cycling away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, take the West-Bike-Route. This circular e-bike route connects all ten centres of the towns and municipalities of the Heinsberger Land region. At the ten picnic areas along the way, you can tank up on energy and charge up your e-bike battery free of charge. However, even cyclists without the support of an electric motor will enjoy the excellent infrastructure and low-incline route. Away from busy roads, you cross the forests, moors and heathlands of the Schwalm-Netter and Heidenaturpark nature parks, and discover remnants of the former industrial culture here. A particular highlight is the westernmost point in Germany.
