In the hiking paradise “Water.Hiking.World”, nine certified premium hiking trails lead you to many favourite places in the cross-border Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park. Let yourself be enchanted by the fascinating interplay between water, meadows, forest and heath and a rare animal and plant world.

The rivers Maas, Schwalm and Nette, which give the park its name, as well as numerous lakes and streams characterise the Lower Rhine landscape here. 25 selected favourite places, so-called “water views”, offer particularly impressive views of the waters in the nature park.

On the premium hiking trails, nature invites you to experience quiet wonders on foot – welcome to the green soul of the Lower Rhine!
