Niers-Radwanderweg
ViersenThe Niers Cycle Path (“Niers-Radwanderweg”) runs to the south of Mönchengladbach along the Niers river, stretches of which have been returned to their natural state, through the districts of Viersen and Kleve through to its confluence with the Maas river behind Gennep/NL. This cycle route, with its attractive landscape, avoids urban centres, running through the flat lowlands of the Niers river. The landscape is dominated by meadows, poplar trees and pollarded willows. A set of three flyers is available as a download, with all the information you need about the route and individual attractions.
