The baroque rooms of the former Franciscan Monastery and the Monastery Church, the largest single-nave church on the Lower Rhine, provide the backdrop to Kempen’s two museums. Their special collections showcasing Lower Rhine life up to the 20th century and sacred, particularly Medieval art, are enhanced by many special exhibitions with cultural-historical and historical themes.
