The deer park in Süchteln is maintained by the city of Viersen and provides three large preserves for deer, wild boar and goats. It is a special experience for visitors to be able to get up close to the deer. There is also a hut where they can take shelter and watch the deer from a distance. For safety reasons and to protect the animals, it is not allowed to bring any feed to the park.
Further highlights are a barefoot path and an insect hotel.
